Hmm…you know, I don’t really think about that kind of stuff that often. I read a lot of design and event blogs that focus on weddings, and sometimes I think, “Oh, that would be kind of fun” but I never daydream about my wedding day.
Personally, I’d rather not make a fuss about it. Walking down an aisle sounds like an absolute nightmare. I don’t really have much family support so all that traditional stuff sounds like drama. I’d rather quietly and privately exchange rings at city hall and then have a small get together/dance party with a handful of people I really actually care about.
If I ever do get married, it will be because I found someone that loves me and wants to celebrate that, not because I want lavish roses and ball gowns and dinner parties and disco balls. (But if that’s what you’re into, by all means, go for it.)
